hello everyone,
is anyone competing in the go natural multi sport on the 14th august at ku-ring-gai chase national park. i have entered and need some advice/help on what to expect on the day.

i have been doing a little bit of training on the bike, and a bit of running. as yet i am not sure what type of kayak to use. I have access to a paddle ski for the day but am not sure if this will be ok, or if it would be better to hire 1.

I would appreciate any advice/help

cheers,
scotty

The Big Fella or The Flash, maybe even Tim B have done some adventure racing.
Shawn will also have some info. Good luck and have fun!

Yep Shaun Welch,Pete Clark and myself all going down,Mick Stoneman and Pete Brown have both had to pull out,so if they have not got their money back yet you can transfer to someone else if anyone out there interested. As long as you have a boat that floats, and you can stay on it,you should be right. What type of "paddle ski" are you talking about Scottie.Have only been back in training for a fortnight myself,so looking at a world of pain for this one happy

Further to this, was talking to a mate at newcastle xc today, him and his mate both cant race due to change of work committments and are willing to transfer their entry to anyone who wants to have a go at this event for FREE.Yep,no charge to you,he would rather see someone use his entry rather than the organisers get money for nothing.Anyone interested let me know and i can organise it or put you in touch with him directly

2 weeks training "Big Fella" you will smash it!!!!!!!

Also I seem to recall from last year that this is the easiest 12k run in Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dead flat and super smooth surface , you'll be right.
